Administrator reports help you find calls and investigate what the system recorded. Open Reports in the administration area. This requires Teams Business. Our demo has five internal call records, including two answered calls and three with no answer.
Choose the reporting period at the top right: seven, thirty or ninety days. The summary cards cover that period, showing totals, answered and missed calls, average talk time, and the split between inbound, outbound and internal calls.
Use the direction filter to narrow the table. We’ll choose Internal because these test calls were between team extensions. Change one filter at a time so you can see its effect.
Next, choose the member involved. We’ll select Jamie on extension one thousand and one. All five records still match because each of these demo calls involved Jamie.
Choose Answered in the result filter. The table now contains two matching records. Read the timestamp, calling and called parties, route, result and duration together. These are recorded call outcomes; they do not, by themselves, confirm audio quality.
Select Duration to change the table’s sort order. You can also search by number or name. We’ll enter Jamie’s extension, one thousand and one, while keeping the other filters in place.
Route filters help separate direct calls from calls handled by a group, queue or flow. Selecting Queue leaves this table empty because these test calls used the Direct route. An empty filtered list does not mean the records have disappeared.
Return the route filter to All routes and the two answered records reappear. The summary cards still describe the whole reporting period. Use the count below the table to see how many records match your filters.
Now change the result to No answer. Three records match. Use their times and parties to identify the calls you want to investigate, then compare the intended destination with the route shown.
Clear the filters when you finish and return to your preferred date range. Use the page controls below the table when more results are available. For a support request, note the time and timezone, calling and called numbers, expected route, and the behaviour you observed. Keep passwords out of those notes.
