Use mute, speaker, hold and the keypad

Audio-route choices depend on the device and connected accessories. The recording demonstrates the emulator’s available controls.

Steps

1. During a connected call, tap the microphone control to mute; tap again to unmute.
2. Use the speaker control to change the audio route.
3. Tap hold to pause the call, then tap it again to resume.
4. Open the keypad to enter phone-menu tones, close it when finished, then end the call.

Once you’re on a call, the main controls are all on this screen.

Tap the microphone to mute yourself. A line through the microphone tells you mute is on.

Ready to speak again? Tap the same button to unmute.

Use the audio button to switch speaker mode on or off. The available options depend on your phone and any connected accessories.

To pause the call, tap Hold. You’ll see On Hold, and the button changes to a play symbol.

Tap that play symbol when you want to carry on. The status returns to Connected.

If a phone menu asks you to press a number, open the keypad.

Tap the numbers you need. The app sends those tones through the call.

Use the cross to close the keypad, and the red button to hang up when you’re finished.
