Your SessionPBX workspace brings everyday team tools together. We’re signed in as Jamie, our demo member on extension one thousand and one. Home gives you a quick view of recent activity and your team.

Open Team to find a colleague’s name and extension. Use the search and availability filters when your team grows. The message button beside a colleague opens a conversation with that person.

In Chat, write your message and send it. Here, Jamie lets Alex know that the workspace sign-in is complete. Keep work conversations in the relevant chat so they are easy to find again.

When we open the conversation again, Alex’s reply is there beneath Jamie’s message. Select a conversation from the list to read its history and continue the discussion.

Contacts holds the shared numbers your administrator has added. In our example, Northstar Reception is already listed. Search by name or number to find the right contact, rather than keeping another copy of the directory elsewhere.

Use Settings to review your profile and update your status. Choose an availability setting, add a short status message when useful, and select Save status. Jamie will be away briefly, so we’ll add Back shortly.

When you’re back, update the status again. Here, we return Jamie to Available, clear the old message, and save. Keep the message current so colleagues know what to expect.

Call Log helps you find recent calls. These entries come from calls in our test workspace. Search for a colleague, then use Missed to focus on calls that need attention. Check the result and time before following up.

You can also filter incoming calls by result. Here, choosing Answered narrows the list to the calls with that recorded outcome. Use the route filter as well when you need to distinguish direct calls from routed calls.

Voicemail has its own page in the sidebar. Jamie’s demo mailbox is empty here; new messages left for this member will appear in this list. Start with Team, Chat and Contacts, and use Call Log and Voicemail to catch up on missed activity.
