Branded softphones

SessionTalk supports softphones for Windows, macOS, iOS and Android. Choose the branding level that fits your service and the way you want customers to install the apps.

Customer logos with SessionPBX

SessionPBX customers use the SessionCloud Softphone apps. Logo branding lets you display the customer’s logo inside the mobile and desktop apps.

• Teams Business: logo branding is included.
• Teams Phone: select Add logo branding when creating the customer tenant, or add it later through the project’s plan controls.
• Both SessionTalk Cloud and self-hosted partner tenants support this option. Self-hosted add-ons follow the annual licence.

After enabling the entitlement, configure the logo in the customer’s PBX workspace. For self-hosted tenants, allow the licence to refresh before checking branding availability. See the branding walkthrough.

Users install the standard apps and provision their customer account using the invitation flow. Logo branding changes the in-app identity; a separate app name, launcher icon and app-store listing require the Whitelabel product.

Full white-label apps

Whitelabel projects provide apps with your own branding, icons and app name. They have a separate build and publishing workflow in SessionCloud, including the graphics, store metadata and signing information needed for distribution.

Tell SessionTalk during your partner application if you want full white-label apps alongside your PBX service. Confirm the product arrangement and supported provisioning setup with SessionTalk. The partner tenant wizard offers SessionPBX plans and logo branding; it does not automatically create a Whitelabel project or include separate app publishing.

Softphones with a PBX you already operate

If you already run a compatible SIP PBX, use a Generic or Whitelabel softphone project to provision users against that system. Generic projects use the standard app with supported in-app branding; Whitelabel projects provide your own app identity.

SessionCloud supports SIP provisioning settings, external provisioning, QR codes and desktop provisioning links. Confirm PBX-specific requirements with SessionTalk before rollout.

Plan for mobile push notifications so users can receive calls while an app is backgrounded. Generic apps can use SessionTalk push servers when no custom push server is specified. Whitelabel deployments require your own push-server setup and the relevant platform credentials. See push setup and provisioning.
