Choose your outgoing SIP account

Enable the multiple-account premium feature to use more than one SIP account. This recording uses two accounts on a local test PBX.

Steps

1. Open Settings → Accounts and check the accounts are registered.
2. Open Dial-out account and choose the account you want.
3. Return to Phone and check the account shown at the top.
4. Make a test call, then return to Accounts whenever you want to change the outgoing account.

With the multiple-account premium feature enabled, you can choose which account makes outgoing calls. Open Settings, then Accounts. Both our test accounts are registered.

Tap the Dial-out account list to see your choices.

Select the account you want to use. Its name now appears in the Dial-out account field.

Return to Phone and check the account at the top. We’ve switched to extension two thousand and three.

Enter a number and try a call. This one connects through the second account on our local test phone system.

Hang up when you’re done. You can return to Accounts and change the outgoing account whenever you need to.
