Set up the app with a provisioning link

Install the desktop app first, then open the setup link supplied by your administrator. Allow the browser to open the softphone and follow any confirmation prompt. A setup link can replace an existing account configuration.

Token-based setup links

Use the complete link issued by the portal. The current app requires both the token and portal host:

The host identifies the provisioning service. Do not remove it or substitute the SIP domain. SessionPBX invitations can use their own provider-issued link format; open the invitation link unchanged.

The token is exchanged for configuration over HTTPS. If the link has expired or was already used, ask the administrator for a new one.

Where the sign-in screen offers Use setup link, paste the complete link or QR content into Setup link or QR content and choose Continue.

Legacy QR payloads have a different format from token links. See QR codes without an external provisioning server and QR codes with your server. Do not use the old scloc:?providerId=...&sipaccounts=... example as a current token link.
