Call Logs and Reports
SessionPBX provides an operational call log for members and a retained reporting view for administrators on Teams Business.
Member call log
Members open Call Log in their team web workspace. The list includes:
- Inbound, outbound and internal direction
- Caller and called party
- Result, such as answered, no answer, busy or voicemail
- Routing type, such as direct, queue, ring group or call flow
- Start time and duration
- Recording playback and download where available
Members can search by name or number and filter the list by result or routing type.
Administrator reports
Open the project and select Reports. The summary shows:
- Total calls
- Answered calls
- Missed calls
- Average talk time
Filter the report by:
- Last 7, 30 or 90 days
- Inbound, outbound or internal direction
- Team member
- Answered, no answer, voicemail or queued result
The table shows time, direction, parties, routing path, result and duration. Select Load older when more retained rows are available.
Call-log deletion and reporting
The member call log is a working view. Deleting a call from that view does not remove the corresponding reporting or audit record. Use the administrator report when investigating historical traffic or reconciling a user report.
Interpret common results
| Result | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Answered | A destination answered and the call connected. |
| No answer | The attempted destination did not answer before its route moved on or ended. |
| Busy | The destination was busy or unavailable under its call-handling policy. |
| Voicemail | The call was sent to a mailbox. |
| Queued | The caller entered a queue; a later event may update the final outcome. |
Investigate a call
Record these details before contacting support:
- Date, time and timezone
- Calling and called numbers
- Member, queue, group or flow involved
- Inbound, outbound or internal direction
- Result and duration shown in Reports
- Whether there was no audio, one-way audio or poor quality
- Whether the issue can be reproduced
Do not send SIP passwords, provisioning passwords or full recording files unless SessionTalk support requests them through an approved secure channel.
