If support asks for a diagnostic log, you can collect and share one from SessionTalk. Here’s how.
Open the menu, then Settings and Preferences.
Switch on Enable log, and tap the tick in the top right to save.
Now repeat whatever was going wrong. We’re enabling a test account that fails to register. If your problem happens on a call, repeat that call with logging switched on.
Once you’ve reproduced the problem, return to Settings and open SIP log.
Check that it says Logging enabled. Tap the circular arrows to refresh, then the share arrow. We’ve hidden the diagnostic details in this video, but they’ll be included in your exported log.
Android opens a share sheet with the log attached as a text file. Choose a sharing app and your support contact. Include a short description of the problem and when it happened. The share screen looks different on an iPhone.
After collecting the log, return to Preferences, switch off Enable log and save. You can turn it back on whenever support needs a fresh log.
