Speak to someone before transferring a call

Enable premium calling features and check that your SIP provider supports attended transfer. The recording uses test extensions to demonstrate the consultation and completed transfer.

Steps
- During a connected call, tap the double-arrow transfer control.
- Enter the destination and call it. The first caller is held.
- Wait for the consultation call to connect and speak privately to the recipient.
- Tap the green double-arrow control to complete the transfer.
Transcript
An attended transfer gives you a chance to speak to the next person before passing the caller over. Make sure premium calling features are enabled and your phone service supports transfers.
While you’re on the call, tap the transfer button with two arrows. The app puts your caller on hold and opens the keypad.
Enter the other person’s number, then tap the green call button.
Wait for them to answer. This is where you can speak privately and check they’re ready to take the original call.
Once both calls are connected, the transfer button turns green. Check you’ve reached the right person before going ahead.
Tap the green button to complete the transfer. Both calls leave your phone. Our test phone system confirms that the two other sides are now connected.
