Make and receive your first call

This example calls another extension on an isolated local test phone system.

Steps

1. Open Phone, enter a number and select the green call button.
2. Wait for the other person to answer and the status to change to Connected.
3. Select the red call button to hang up.
4. For an incoming call, select the green answer button. End the conversation with the red button.

To make a call, open Phone and enter the number. We’re using another extension on our test phone system.

Select the green call button. You’ll see the number you’re calling while the connection is being made. Once the other person answers, the status changes to Connected. The controls let you manage the call.

When you’re finished, select the red button to end the call. The app returns to the dial pad.

For an incoming call, the caller’s number appears on screen. Choose Answer to pick up, or Decline if you can’t take the call. We’ll answer this one.

The Connected status confirms that you’ve answered. The same call controls are available whether you made or received the call.

Select the red button when the conversation is over.
