Push for Incoming Calls

Synchronous

Softphone and Push server will swap registration as the softphone is backgrounded and brought to the foreground again.

Softphone backgrounded or closed

Step 1

When the softphone is backgrounded or closed the softphone will immediately unregister with the PBX

Step 2

SIP credentials are securely transferred to the Push server

Step 3

Push server registers SIP account with the PBX

Softphone application opened or foregrounded

Step 4

Request made to Push server to unregister the given SIP account and remove credentials

Step 5

Push server unregisters SIP acccount with PBX. At this point neither the softphone application nor Pushserver are registered.There is thus a small time window where incoming calls may not be received.

Step 6

Softphone brought to foreground and registers with PBX
