Set up Inteliquent messaging

This provider is available in the SessionCloud messaging settings.

Open your BYO PBX project in Provisioning > Advanced > Messaging, enable SMS, and select this provider under Incoming and outgoing SMS.

  1. Obtain a Message Broker API key for your Inteliquent account. Select Inteliquent in SessionCloud, enter the key and use Save.
  2. Copy the entire webhook URL, including its token, into the Message Broker inbound webhook configuration for the account or the individual numbers.
  3. Assign each messaging number to its SIP account and provide updated account provisioning. Test SMS and, where enabled on the number, MMS.

Incoming JSON callbacks use HTTP POST and receive an empty HTTP 202 after processing. One connection URL can serve all its assigned numbers. Each destination in a callback is routed to its own assigned inbox; this does not enable group conversations. Receipt notifications are acknowledged, but this integration does not interpret them as confirmed handset delivery. See the account’s Message Broker API reference .

Connect the app and test

Assign each messaging number to its user’s exact SIP username and domain, then provide updated authenticated provisioning or an account provisioning QR code. See Connect the app.

Test sending, receiving, duplicate callbacks, offline synchronization and background notifications. Check the carrier’s records before resending a message whose delivery is uncertain. Keep credentials and private webhook URLs out of screenshots and support messages.

Compare all messaging providers, or use the troubleshooting guide if messages fail.
